Custom Special – Every once in awhile I just have to build something that speaks to my creativity so here you can see some of my “creations”.
I love the sound of the old Tele’ so decided to build my “Tele Uku.” It has Tele neck and bridge pickups in either or both configuration and a extensively reworked “bigsby bar” so it will fit on my wild pattern “Harley Eagle” tenor ukulele with Steel strings. It sounds like a mini Tele and is fun to play Ventures music on —Pipeline, Wipeout, Fun fun fun. These instruments are not for sale but I wanted to share with you what can be done.
